Mini Strawberry Nutella Galettes
These Mini Strawberry Nutella Galettes are only FIVE INGREDIENTS. They exemplify simplicity, all while packing in the most delicious flavors and impressive look. From someone who doesn’t love making sweets, these are my new favorite thing.
Mini Strawberry Nutella Galettes
Yield: 12 mini galettes
Ingredients
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 375.
- Take pie crusts out of refrigerator and rest at room temp for 15-20 minutes.
- Mix 1 teaspoon of sugar with the chopped strawberries and set aside.
- Cut pie crust in 4 inch circles (or close to that) with a cookie cutter, or other round shape. I used a drinking glass and I was able to get about 6 per pie crust.
- With a rolling pin, roll the circles out, thinning slightly. You could do this with the pie crust as a whole and cut circles from there, but I prefer to roll them individually.
- For each small crust, spread 1 teaspoon of the Nutella in the center, leaving a 1 inch boarder. Top the Nutella with 1 tablespoon of strawberries. Crimp the edge of the pie crust, folding the boarder in towards the center.
- Place the galettes on a parchment lined cookie sheet. Brush each galette boarder with the melted butter and sprinkle sugar on top.
- Bake in pre-heated oven for 16-18 minutes, or until the crusts are nice and browned.
- Rest on a cooking rack for 5 minutes. Enjoy with ice cream, whipped cream, or straight up!
